As the global pandemic continues to engulf the life of every person on Earth and the desperate need for aid and live-saving resources continues in every corner of the world, Yours Humanly Nepal completed the second round of its COVID-19 relief project helping families and children in Sitapaila, Kathmandu ward 5; Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu ward 9; and Lalitpur ward 14.
Eleven children living in an orphanage and more than 40 impoverished families (including 32 children) living in squatter settlements made of corrugated tin benefitted from the team’s deliveries of hygiene kits including masks, sanitizers, and disinfectants; educational kits including pencils, sharpeners, erasers, watercolors, crayons, and drawing books; and groceries for more than 18,000 meals.
