Yours Humanly Nepal opened a library and activities center at a school in Morang, Nepal. This new educational space will benefit more than 700 students, giving children access to books, reading materials, and a welcoming environment designed to inspire learning and creativity.
For many underprivileged students, books are a rare resource outside of the classroom. Having a school library provides children with the opportunity to strengthen reading and comprehension skills, improve academic achievement, and discover new ideas and perspectives through literature. Access to books also encourages imagination, curiosity, independent learning, and self-confidence — essential building blocks that help students pursue greater opportunities in life.
Behind every bookshelf is a child eager to learn, dream, and grow. Because of the generosity of supporters and partners, hundreds of students in Morang now have access to a space where knowledge and opportunity come together. This project was made possible through our Coloring Futures initiative. View photos.
