A spirited speaker and passionate advocate for inclusive educational opportunities for all children, Cherise began her four-year term on the MDUSD School Board in December 2018. She is the founder of MDUSD Education Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to funding quality education for students of the Mt. Diablo Unified School District, and served as its first president from 2017-18.
