{"id":7832,"date":"2021-09-03T09:35:57","date_gmt":"2021-09-03T16:35:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dehradunjunction.com\/ngo\/news-item\/high-school-students-donate-2000-earned-tutoring-to-yours-humanly\/"},"modified":"2026-06-04T20:29:57","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T20:29:57","slug":"high-school-students-donate-2000-earned-tutoring-to-yours-humanly","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/dehradunjunction.com\/ngo\/news-item\/high-school-students-donate-2000-earned-tutoring-to-yours-humanly\/","title":{"rendered":"High School Students Donate $2,000 Earned Tutoring to Yours Humanly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the summer of 2021, six Northern California high school students formed a nonprofit,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/itutorr\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iTutor Academy,<\/a>&nbsp;whose mission is to advocate for and provide quality education that is accessible to all at an affordable price.&nbsp;It was inspiring to see the team run the online summer camp for children&nbsp;grades 3-5, teaching all the classes in math, English, and science; and facilitating all the art, debate, and&nbsp;public speaking&nbsp;clubs.<\/p>\n<p>The girls did amazing work, helping campers learn new skills to get a head start on the upcoming school curriculum.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>iTutor was a success out the gate and the team raised $2,000 in the first session, which was donated in its entirety to Yours Humanly. Being faithful to their mission, the girls said they chose to donate to Yours Humanly because its mission aligns with their passion for providing children with opportunities for quality education.<\/p>\n<p>Yours Humanly is grateful to these creative, innovative, and&nbsp;compassionate young people, and we wish them and iTutor all success for summer camps to
